We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our established IT company in Kathmandu, Nepal. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Spark, Python, and the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
Build robust data solutions utilizing Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (DLT), streaming tables, materialized views, and checkpoints.
Optimize data pipelines and workloads for maximum performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in cloud environments.
Implement and manage CI/CD workflows for data platforms using Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB) with minimal reliance on UI-based setups.
Connect data platforms with external systems and cloud services (Amazon S3, APIs) while driving continuous Data QA and validation practices.
Leverage modern AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to enhance development productivity and code quality.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align technical decisions with business goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, with higher salary ranges available for candidates evaluated for lead positions.
Proficient in Apache Spark, Databricks Lakehouse, Python, Delta Lake, and CI/CD practices.
Hands-on expertise in building data pipelines and familiarity with cloud storage (Amazon S3) and APIs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
