Location: On-site (Sifal, Kathmandu)
Working Hours: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Experience: 2+ Years in Data Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable data solutions, managing Azure-based data pipelines, and ensuring data quality and availability. Power BI experience is essential, while knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows on Microsoft Azure.
Build and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions using Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.
Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all systems and processes.
Collaborate with teams to implement data models for reporting and business insights.
Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
Automate data integration processes and build reusable components.
Document and maintain data engineering processes and architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, and Blob Storage.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and big data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration pipelines.
Familiarity with data governance, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) is a plus.
Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs).
Knowledge of Docker and containerization is an advantage.
