Roles and responsibilities of this job
The Data Center Control Room Engineer is responsible for real-time monitoring and supervision of critical data center systems, ensuring uninterrupted availability, tracking alerts, and supporting incident response as the first line of defense in 24×7 rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Incident Management
Act as the first level responder for infrastructure alarms and events, coordinating with Operations, Network, and Security teams.
Perform 24×7 real-time monitoring of all data center infrastructure, including:
Power: HT/LT, UPS, DG, PDU, ATS
Cooling: CRAC, Chillers, PAHU
Network & IT: NMS
Systems: iBMS, EMS, DCIM, CCTV, ACS, and FAS.
Reporting & Documentation:
Emergency & Safety Management:
Customer Support:
Provide customer support, including coordinating customer access, performing authorized remote hands activities, and supporting service requests.
