Job Description

These are professional openings requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in the software industry. Currently, we are seeking skilled data analyst to lead our cloud migration initiative, derive intelligence out of existing data, prepare benchmarking reports across industries, strategize migration and modelling activities.

The ideal candidate will have good eye in understanding the potential of data, extensive experience working with structured and unstructured big data, good knowledge of statistics and data modelling algorithms. Candidates with prior experience of working as data analyst, data scientist or data engineers may fit in well.  

Responsibilities

  • Perform data investigation and exploratory data analysis to understand the potential of given data
  • Perform data mining and develop algorithms that provide insight from data.
  • Measure and improve results, and present final result to stakeholders
  • Research, conceptualize, and implement analytical approaches and predictive modeling to evaluate scenarios, predict utilization and clinical outcomes, and recommend actions to impact results.
  • Work closely and collaborate with Development/Engineering teams and Business stakeholders spread out across various locations to achieve the business goals 

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Statistical and Mathematical analysis of data models
  • Proficient in data wrangling, exploratory data analysis and feature engineering with large data sets
  • Experience with common data science tools such as R, R Studios, Python, NumPy/Pandas, etc.
  • Excellence in R/Python is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in handling time-series and graph/network analysis would be a plus
  • Hands-on knowledge of common big data solutions - Hadoop Ecosystem, Hive/Presto, Apache Spark would be an added advantage
  • Experience with data visualization is highly desirable
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
  • Critical thinker, strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Willingness to work in flexible hours overlapping with US office hours, if needed
  • Good attitude and strong work ethics
