Roles and responsibilities of this job

Create lessons and materials that meet course goals and industry standards.

Teach engaging classes and lead practical sessions on cybersecurity.

Evaluate students' progress and give helpful advice.

Teach cryptographic methods, security protocols, and Linux systems.

Guide students on career paths and encourage teamwork.

Update lessons with the latest cybersecurity trends and case studies.

Stay updated through learning and research in cybersecurity.

Collaborate with departments and ensure course quality.

Uphold integrity and confidentiality in teaching and research.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in cryptographic algorithms and techniques, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption (DES, AES, RSA).
In-depth knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including digital signatures, certificates, certification authorities, and registration authorities.
Understanding of web security protocols (IPSec, SSL, HTTPS), email security standards (OpenPGP, S/MIME), and data protection methods (file encryption, access control, data backup).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hypervisors, various types of virtualizations (server, network, storage), and their applications.
Expertise in Linux operating systems, and experience with essential security tools for penetration testing and ethical hacking.
Strong grasp of vulnerability assessment techniques, including penetration testing, use of vulnerability scanners, and security management practices.
Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, password management strategies, IP addressing (IPv4, IPv6), and access control techniques.
Familiarity with using common Cybersecurity associated tools like Cisco Packet Tracer, John the Ripper, Wireshark, Autopsy, and more.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address student queries and cybersecurity challenges.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity.
