Job Description

As a Legal Officer at Khalti, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Advising the company on legal matters: Need to provide legal advice to the company's management team on various matters, including contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  •  Drafting and reviewing legal documents: You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure that they are legally sound and meet the company's requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations: You will work closely with the company's management team to ensure that Khalti complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to data protection, privacy, and financial transactions.
  • Managing legal disputes: You will work closely with the company's management team to manage legal disputes, including negotiating settlements and representing the company in court proceedings.
  • Monitoring changes in laws and regulations: You will monitor changes in laws and regulations that affect the company's operations and advise the management team on how to adapt to these changes.
