C. B. M. was established in year 1987 and stepped into manufacturing of heavy engineering equipment in year 2006 under the name of C.B.M Engineering Works. The quality policy and standards followed by the company made it preferred supplier for various national and multi-national companies operating in India for various types of fabricated equipment

The company is an ISO compliant company and has an I.B.R approved workshop for manufacture of various types of Pressure vessel and Heat Exchanger.
CBM Engineering Works in a short span of time has gained vast experience and specialization in execution of Hydro-power projects specializing in manufacturing and installing of Hydro-Mechanical Equipment such as Gates, Penstock and Accessories, Gate Lifting System, Rope Drum, Hoists E.O.T Cranes etc. The company has successfully supplied and installed more than 100 Gate lifting system of various types & other HM equipment for more than 15 projects around the globe in a short span of 2 years and continues to strive to mark it’s global presence.

Under the guidance and vision of our Director, Mr. Prabhat Chandra and continuous effort of the entire CBM family, the company has progressed in a speeding manner and continuously strives to upgrade itself with latest technology so as to manufacture products & execute projects in a manner which meet or exceed the expectation of our clients.

  • BE – Mechanical Engineering
  • At Least 3 + Years of Experience in Gates/Hoist & Penstock Installation & Erection
  • Should have sound knowledge of Hydromechanical works in Hydropower Sector
  • Strong Communication Skills in English, Nepali and Hindi.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, presentation and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills for handling multiple meetings.


Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities : 

  • To promote and maintain the goodwill of company in the best manner.
  • Follow-Up with clients as and when required regarding all aspects related to company including site issues, financial follow-ups, general discussions and solving all general queries related to company.
  • Make site visits as and when necessary and report the site status and matters to company as per requirement.
  • To supervise arrangement of necessary tools & tackle, machinery, manpower, equipment etc. and handle all the matters that might be required for smooth and timely execution of projects.
  • To arrange logistics, manpower, machinery or any other equipment required for execution of projects.
  • To follow up with clients for payments and ensure collection and remittance of payment.
  • To attend to any sort of queries, doubts, problems raised/faced by clients on priority.
  • To ensure all works being executed are carried out in efficient and smooth manner and take responsibility for solving any unforeseen problems that may arise.
  • Attend meetings with clients/consultants/developers as and when required.
  • To maintain and review Daily Progress Reports from all sites.
  • To maintain and review daily office expenses, site expenses, daily consumables and fuel reports etc. and minimize running costs and overheads of the company as well as sites.
  • To handle all local issues/problems that may arise during project execution.
  • Ensure that all protocols and systems developed by company are implemented.
  • Update the company about any amendment in Rules and Regulations of Government so that there is no legal implication on company in any way, no matter whatsoever.
  • Update and maintain the daily attendance and log sheet of all staff.
  • Execute all tasks and jobs related to promote the presence and goodwill of company.
