C. B. M. was established in year 1987 and stepped into manufacturing of heavy engineering equipment in year 2006 under the name of C.B.M Engineering Works. The quality policy and standards followed by the company made it preferred supplier for various national and multi-national companies operating in India for various types of fabricated equipment

The company is an ISO compliant company and has an I.B.R approved workshop for manufacture of various types of Pressure vessel and Heat Exchanger.
CBM Engineering Works in a short span of time has gained vast experience and specialization in execution of Hydro-power projects specializing in manufacturing and installing of Hydro-Mechanical Equipment such as Gates, Penstock and Accessories, Gate Lifting System, Rope Drum, Hoists E.O.T Cranes etc. The company has successfully supplied and installed more than 100 Gate lifting system of various types & other HM equipment for more than 15 projects around the globe in a short span of 2 years and continues to strive to mark it’s global presence.

Under the guidance and vision of our Director, Mr. Prabhat Chandra and continuous effort of the entire CBM family, the company has progressed in a speeding manner and continuously strives to upgrade itself with latest technology so as to manufacture products & execute projects in a manner which meet or exceed the expectation of our clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • B. Tech /Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in managerial or assistant managerial position.
  • Should be extremely well versed and proficient in MS-Office (Word & PPT) & MS-Projects.
  • Should be well versed and fluent in English
  • Should have good communication and conveying skills.
  • Should have excellent written skills for emails.
  • Candidates with work experience in Hydropower companies will be preffered.


Job Description

  • To promote and maintain the goodwill of company in country of placement (Nepal) in best ways possible.
  • Follow-Up with clients as and when required regarding all aspects related to company including site issues, financial follow-ups, general discussions and solving all queries related to company and contracts awarded to company.
  • Make site visits as and when necessary and report the site status and matters to company as per requirement.
  • To arrange necessary tools & tackles, machinery, manpower, equipment etc. and handle all matters that might be required for smooth and timely execution of projects in country of placement. (Nepal).
  • Be responsible for collection of bills, documents, export documents or any other documents from clients as and when required by company in Nepal.
  • To follow up with clients for payments and ensure collection and remittance of payment.
  • To attend to any sort of queries, doubts, problems raised/faced by clients on priority.
  • To ensure all works being executed in the country of placement (Nepal) are carried out in efficient and smooth manner and take responsibility for solving any unforeseen problems that may arise.
  • Attend meetings with clients/consultants/developers as and when required.
  • Generate inquiries for new and upcoming projects.
  • Ensure all works is done as per approved & appropriate standards.
  • To handle all local issues/problems that may arise during project execution.
  • To keep and maintain all necessary daily expense records related to company.
  • Ensure that all protocols and systems developed by company are implemented.
  • Update the company about any amendment in Rules and Regulations of Government so that there is no legal implication on company in any way, no matter whatsoever.
  • Update and maintain the daily attendance and log sheet of all staff.
  • Execute all tasks and jobs related to promote the presence and goodwill of company.
  • Promote and develop new business opportunities for the company in Nepal.
  • Handle and manage contract execution in country of placement in terms of payment receipt, cash flow, manpower requirements etc.
