Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Counselor / Tele caller is responsible for managing student inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, and tele calling potential leads to support the admissions process. This role involves handling various communication channels, guiding students through admission procedures, and ensuring a smooth experience for prospective students and their families.

Department: BEG Group Admissions, Outreach and Events

Reports To: Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management and Telemarketing

Follow up on unassigned leads, including digital leads from Google PPC, Facebook, College Nepal, and other sources.
Telecall prospective students to provide information on academic programs and answer initial queries.
Make follow-up calls to leads that have been counselled or are deemed potential.
Update notes and status for each lead in the CRM softwares.

Student Counseling

Provide detailed counseling to prospective students and their parents about available programs, including A-Levels, Undergraduate (BBA,
BHM, Computing, CSDF, AI, ACCA), and Postgraduate (MBA, EMBA, MSCIT, MSC Advanced) courses.
Guide students through the admissions process, including program selection, documentation requirements, and fee structure.
Conduct double and triple counseling sessions involving students, parents, and scholarship discussions.

Admissions and Documentation

Manage the admissions process, including Orbund ID creation, email creation, documentation verification, and issuing conditional acceptance letters.
Collect admission payments and process fee plans.
Update the admissions group with new enrollments and upload documents as required.
Maintain a filing system for enrolled students and follow up on any pending documentation.

Communication and Follow-ups

Reply to inquiries via Gmail, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Provide course and fee structure details to students through email and WhatsApp.
Assist students and visitors with campus directions and relevant information.
Make arrangements for guests, including ordering tea or coffee.

Event Assistance and Campus Tours

Conduct campus tours for counselled students to showcase facilities ,and provide an in-depth look at the college environment.
Distribute pamphlets, fee structures, admission documents, and goodies to prospective students.
Assist the marketing team during events, fairs, or open days as needed.

Coordination and Meetings

Participate in regular meetings with the manager, program leaders, and Head of Department for admissions and program updates.
Assist other departments, including Examinations and Registry, in related tasks.
Attend HR training and other training sessions as required.

Administrative Support

Perform data entry tasks and update information on designation platforms.
Handle walk-in inquiries and create folders for new walk-in students.
Assist with various tasks, including helping the marketing team and arranging materials for events.
