Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking Counselor – Australia, UK, New Zealand, and Canada to join our Education Consultancy team. In this role, you will guide students in selecting suitable courses and institutions, provide expert advice on study destinations, and support them throughout the application and enrollment process. You will play a vital role in helping students make informed decisions and successfully achieve their international education goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel walk-in, online, and referred students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
Understand students’ academic background, career goals, budget, and preferences to guide them toward suitable universities and programs.
Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and in-house students to ensure conversion from enquiry to enrolment.
Provide accurate information on institutions, programs, cities, and overall educational experience.
Guide students and parents on admission requirements, visa guidelines, documentation, and processes without setting unrealistic expectations.
Assist students with university applications, visa documentation, SOP preparation, and end-to-end application processing.
Shortlist universities and programs best suited to the student profile while promoting partner institutions.
Coordinate with internal teams (front desk, instructors, admissions) to ensure smooth counselling and application flow.
Process applications (online and paper-based) in compliance with partner institution guidelines and quality standards.
Handle CRM systems, including application tracking, offers, deposits, deferrals, refunds, and related updates.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, universities, and internal stakeholders via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
Stay updated with the latest admission policies, institutional changes, and immigration updates; prepare reports and MIS as required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Minimum 2 years of experience in student counselling or overseas education consultancy.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to counsel students and parents effectively and handle queries with confidence and clarity.
Good knowledge of admission processes, documentation, SOPs, and visa guidelines for multiple destinations.
Experience in handling CRM systems, university portals, and application tracking tools.
Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet enrolment targets.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Team player with the ability to coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email) and basic digital communication tools.
