Job Title: New Zealand Counselor

Introduction:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced New Zealand Counselor to join our reputable education consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and support to students aiming to study in New Zealand, ensuring they receive accurate and up-to-date information about educational institutions, programs, visa requirements, and cultural nuances. This role is pivotal in assisting students in making informed decisions that align with their academic and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized counseling to students regarding study opportunities in New Zealand.
• Assist students in selecting appropriate courses, universities, and programs based on their academic background and career goals.
• Guide students through the application process, including document preparation, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
• Maintain current knowledge of New Zealand's education system, including universities, colleges, and vocational institutions.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate students and parents about studying in New Zealand.
• Foster relationships with educational institutions and key stakeholders in New Zealand to stay informed about changes and updates in the education sector.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with visa and immigration regulations for students applying to New Zealand.
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their application process and during their stay in New Zealand.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in educational counseling, preferably with a focus on New Zealand education.
• Excellent knowledge of New Zealand's education system, visa regulations, and cultural environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with student recruitment processes and international student services.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
• Experience in organizing and conducting educational workshops or seminars is desirable.
• A passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
