Education Level : Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Experience Required : More than 2 years

  • Must have completed bachelor's degree (Major English preferred) from reputed university.
  • Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience in related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, guardians, parents, teachers, school/colleges and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to empathize with students' concerns and challenges and provide emotional support when needed.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to help students identify and overcome academic or career-related obstacles.
  • A deep understanding of educational and career development theories, college admission processes, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using counseling software, assessment tools, and educational resources to assist students in making informed decisions.
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of students and their families.
  • The counselor must be proficient in counselling students willing to go for abroad study in New Zealand/Australia/Canada/UK/USA and other internship program.

Job Description

  • Provide personalized counseling to students, parents, or guardians to help them make informed decisions regarding educational and career pathways.
  • Administer and interpret aptitude tests, personality assessments, and academic evaluations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in students.
  • Assist students in setting clear educational and career goals, creating academic plans, and selecting suitable courses or majors based on their interests and abilities.
  • Guide students through the college admission process, including researching and selecting colleges, preparing application materials, and navigating financial aid options.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational institutions, scholarship opportunities, and vocational training programs to provide relevant information to students and their families.
  • Keep detailed records of counseling sessions, assessments, and student progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Additionally, the counselor should possess sound knowledge of Educational Marketing, managing events, and education fares, conducting seminars, writing & guiding proposals, and handling digital marketing (Social Media) to generate leads.
