Copy Editor - Business
Job Description:
Edit and check the copy for spelling and grammatical mistakes and execute story ideas
Oversee the layout, appearance and content of business articles .
Check facts in stories to ensure accuracy .
Write headlines that capture the essence of the story.
Provide necessary support and assistance to subordinates in news editing.
Liaison with reporters or journalists to clarify facts and details about the stories and articles
Qualification:
Graduate degree in English or Mass Communication
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience
Requirement/Skills:
Should have excellent command over English .
Able to spot and correct grammatical and other mistakes
Ability to cope with the work pressure
Should have good news sense and be computer savvy .
Must establish priorities and balance a desire for perfection with the necessity to follow deadlines
Willing to work in the night shift
