Sahakaripana.com — a dedicated digital news platform for Nepal’s cooperative sector — is looking for a Cooperative News Editor who can independently manage the entire content workflow in Nepali. This role is ideal for someone with a strong command of the Nepali language, interest in journalism, and passion for Nepal’s cooperative movement.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and gather cooperative-related news and updates from across Nepal
Write and edit news articles, features, and interviews in Nepali
Conduct field visits and interviews with cooperative stakeholders
Regularly update the sahakaripana.com portal with verified, well-written content
Coordinate with designers or technical team (when needed) for post formatting and media
Monitor trends and maintain news publishing consistency and credibility

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a relevant field
Excellent writing and editing skills in Nepali (Typing fluency required)
Previous experience in news writing, reporting, or content creation (preferred)
Understanding of Nepal’s cooperative system or willingness to learn
Basic computer and online publishing knowledge (WordPress preferred)
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the portal content
