Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting a variety of continental dishes, breakfast menus, and bakery products. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining quality and consistency in all food preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook café menu items such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, fries, and breakfast items.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food.
Ensure proper food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards.
Assist in menu planning and introducing new café-style food items.
Manage kitchen inventory and report stock requirements.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness of workstations.
Coordinate with café staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Relevant training or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field will be preferred.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in continental cuisine, breakfast preparation, and bakery operations.
Experience in hotels, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, or hospitality establishments will be an advantage.
