Job Description:

The ICT Foundation Nepal is seeking a full-time Content and Documentation Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. The Content & Documentation Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining a range of written materials within the organization. This includes creating content for marketing, internal communications, and public-facing platforms while ensuring all documents, research, manuals, and reports are clear, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals. The role combines the responsibilities of content creation and documentation requiring a detail-oriented individual with excellent writing and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and edit clear and concise documentation for internal and external purposes, such as manuals, procedures, reports, and policies.
  • Organize and maintain a repository of documents for easy access and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with department heads and technical teams to collect and document process workflows, standards, and best practices.
  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure all documents comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to ensure documentation is in line with current standards.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and readability.
  • Collaborate with other team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the creative process. 
  • Stay up to date with Tech (IT) industry trends, best practices, and content marketing strategies.
  • Work with designers and developers to integrate content with the website and other digital media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, IT, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of content writing experience. 

Skills:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to research and create content in a variety of subjects and formats.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other content management systems. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Personality Traits:

  • Creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
