Kathmandu University-Integrated Rural Development Project (KU-IRDP) is a project funded by the government of the Republic of Korea. It is jointly managed by Kathmandu University (KU) Nepal and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Korea. Kathmandu University has formally established Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) as an entity in Nepal as a major milestone of "Integrated Rural Development of Nepal through Strengthening Research and Development capacity of Kathmandu University."
The main objectives of IRDP/NTIC are:
Smart Health program is one of the major components of IRDP/NTIC. The program has two parts:
The program aims to achieve these through the establishment of a smart-health lab and research network. The smart-health lab is envisioned to adopt existing tools, develop and implement smart health platforms, which will be as per international standards.
Scope of work:
The scope of work includes amongst others, the following tasks. It will be completed using a combination of desk reviews, interviews with key stakeholders and field visits and discussions with experts in the KU IRDP/NTIC team.
Part 1: Baseline / Context Analysis:
Part 2: Development of Plan for Smart-Health platform development using enterprise architecture approach or alternative tools.

Duration of Contract: 2 Months 7 days (+/- 3 days)
Starting Date: From the date of signing of contract
Reporting to: Program Lead / Smart Health Program, NTIC, KU-IRDP
Smart Health Lab: Dhulikhel, Kavre
Note: Consultant's fee is negotiable based on the qualification and experiences.
