We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Communication Officer to join our communications team. The ideal candidate will support the team in achieving their goals by contributing to various communications initiatives, employee engagement activities, event planning, content creation, and social media management. Key Responsibilities: 

1. Team Support and Goal Achievement:

  • Assist the communications team in meeting their objectives by contributing to various projects and tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful execution of communication strategies. 

2. Employee Engagement:

  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assist in organizing internal events, campaigns, and initiatives that promote employee participation and morale. 

3. Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, organize, and execute office events, including meetings, workshops, and celebrations.
  • Coordinate logistics, prepare event materials, and ensure events run smoothly and effectively.

4. Content Creation:

  • Write and edit blog posts, newsletters, and other content as assigned, ensuring alignment with the company’s voice and branding.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to generate engaging and relevant content for various platforms. 

5. Social Media Management:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across different channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor social media trends and engagement metrics to optimize content and strategy. 

6. Documentation Support:

  • Work with Technical Writers to assist in the development and maintenance of documentation when needed.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. 

7. Ad Hoc Duties:

  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the communications team, providing flexible support where needed.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to the overall success of the communications department. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field with 1+ years of experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in Nepali and English.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and content management.
  • Excellent organizational and event planning skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
