Established in the year 2006, the Ullens School offers a multifaceted and balanced curriculum within the framework of the Nepal Government's National Curriculum for Grades 1-10 through the Ullens approach to teaching. Since 2009, the school has been offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Ullens School is the first IB World School in Nepal that has been authorized by the Government of Nepal to run the IBDP. Ullens School started offering grade 11 & 12 of the national board program from the year 2012. The school maintains a partnership with the Bank Street College of Education, New York, a pioneer in innovative and progressive education. Job Description

Purpose of the position

Communications Officer must have a thorough understanding of the organization’s objectives in order to ensure right image is reflected in all its publications. Communications Officer works on a range of communications and multi-media projects. This will include developing communications plans, writing, editing and updating content for websites and publications and influencing social media, to quote a few. Communications Officer will provide support and advice to other teams in order to communicate key messages to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities of the Communications Officer

  • Contribute in building the profile of Ullens as a center of excellence in education and enhance the visibility of the brand and its programs.
  • Ensure consistent, high quality internal communications.
  • Protect the reputation of the Foundation.
  • Oversee the production of Ullens merchandise.
  • Produce printed and electronic communication materials.
