Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH), a non-profit civil society organization established in 1993 with an aim to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights especially the rights of children and youths, invites applications for different posts: Project Coordinator, Youth Advocacy Coordinator and District Youth Mobilization Officers from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity.

The vacancy is called for Nepal based positions for a south Asian regional (Nepal, India, Pakistan) project, “From LOCAL to GLOBAL: strengthening, networking and capacity building of youth-led activities for the right to a clean and healthy environment” funded by Terre Des hommes (TDH Germany) and Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Germany.

  • At least 2 years of experience working in media (print, electronic, web).
  • Able to communicate in English and Nepali language; fluency in both written and spoken. 
  • Proficiency of typing in both Nepali and English
  • Sound knowledge of computer hardware and software including Photoshop and all office packages; 
  • Familiar in upgrading and updating organizational website, blogs and other social media
  • Creativity in Designing IEC Materials 
  • Creativity in production of Radio and Television programs
  • Demonstrated Skills in documenting success stories, case studies, maintaining media library and resource center. 

Job Description

  • Design and Develop Communication Strategies as per the objective of the organization
  • Prepare Communication Action Plan (CAP) of all the projects and implement accordingly
  • Prepare and Design IEC Materials (Posters, Brochures, Leaflets, Pamphlets)
  • Coordinate on Production and Broadcasting of PSAs, Radio Programs/Television Program
  • Regularly update the website and social media (facebook, youtube) of the organizations
  • Maintain and Update Media Library
  • Prepare Media Monitoring Report
  • Prepare Quarterly Newsletter
  • Responsible for preparing and publishing organizational publications, Books, Magazines, Reports etc
