• Motivate and encourage pupils in their learning using strategies to build self-esteem, communication, and organizational skills
• Assist children in their learning in order for them to develop academically, creatively, socially and emotionally.
• Monitor progress of the pupil and adapt and develop learning strategies accordingly and report it to your seniors
• Assist in continuous evaluation and analysis of individual pupil achievement through meetings with class or subject teachers, and maintain records accordingly
• Look for resources for the teaching and learning support team that will support curriculum planning and delivery
• Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments and handouts
