Education Level : Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 3 years
Other Specification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or occupational therapy with at least 3 years of work experience in a related field  
  • Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitation service, capacity building of generalist health staff on rehabilitation, and identifying patients who need referral for specialized rehabilitation preferred.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English and native-speaker-level Nepali
  • Sound IT skills (intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum)
  • Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing medical practice

Job Description

The position holder will provide direct rehabilitation and physiotherapeutic treatments and interventions to pensioners in their homes and in GWT premises. She/he will be responsible to provide rehabilitation expertise to the GWT medical and non-medical staff, and patient carers so that they may better assess and treat the pensioners, and train appropriate skills as necessary and within their competency.
