Roles and responsibilities of this job

BP Construction is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support technical documentation, tender preparation, project planning, and coordination activities. The ideal candidate should have strong engineering knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Technical Documentation & Project Support

Draft, review, and organize technical documents such as BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Assist in preparing work schedules, cost estimates, and project planning documents.
Verify and compile bills, measurement sheets, and work progress reports submitted from project sites.
Maintain proper filing and digital record-keeping of all engineering documents.
Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and management regarding documentation and project requirements.

B. Communication & Reporting

Prepare official letters, correspondence, and reports for clients, authorities, and internal use.
Ensure smooth communication between office teams, site personnel, and external stakeholders.

C. Tendering & BOQ Preparation

Conduct tender searches, especially for government clients, including online e-tendering and bidding processes.
Prepare tender documents as required.
Estimate quantities, reconcile bills, and prepare BOQs with accuracy and clarity.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience in documentation, BOQ preparation, or tendering is preferred (freshers may also apply if skilled).
Strong knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic engineering software.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and professionalism.
