Caritas Nepal, a leading national NGO, invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for Caritas Nepal Regional Office, Banke, Kohalpur. The contract will be for 31st October 2023.

Location: Banke District: Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality and Duduwa Rural Municipality
Period: Till October 2023
Reports to: DIGO Project Coordinator
Parallel reports to: Provincial Manager

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering (Preferred ME)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.  
  • Experience in project planning and implementation at district level in governmental and non-governmental organizations 
  • In depth knowledge of shelter & DRR sector and its working modality in the country both government and non-government sector. 
  • Local resident of Banke district will be prioritized. 
  • Fully familiarized and proper understanding of NRA/ NDRRMA programs and issues related to shelter and other cross cutting. 
  • A strong commitment to shelter and Human Rights is essential along with ability to represent at various levels 
  • Highly motivated, flexible, capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, documentation, and dissemination skills 
  • Excellent skills in operating computer programs with various software 
  • Technical skills and work experience in advocacy, lobbying and networking with shelter, DRR and other sectors. 
  • Technical skills and work experience on designing and applying research tools and statistical analysis packages and report generation.
  • Good language skills in English and Nepali (editing skills, writing and speaking skills)  
  • Very good planning, coordination, monitoring and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results oriented.
