Minimum Qualification:
Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering at least three years in relevant working experience
Age should not exceed 45 years as of September 28, 2015.
Additional Qualification and Skills
Computer based design, drawings and project appraisal and monitoring
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and appraisal of technical reports of different types of Community Infrastructures
Prepare and update technical guidelines, norms and specification for the preparation of feasibility reports, design, estimate and construction of Community Infrastructures
Conduction/Organization of technical training/orientation for POs and COs
Assist to recruit monitoring and appraisal Consultants/Agencies
Preparation annual plan and progress report
Review and Appraisal of Community Infrastructure Sub-projects
Monitoring and supervision of construction works of Community Infrastructure Sub-projects
Undertake field visits to assess the progress of Community Infrastructure Sub-projects and submit report
Arrange for geological geophysical investigation and carrying out feasibility studies of Community Infrastructures
Perform civil engineering duties and activities on Community Infrastructure Sub-projects such as: Rural Roads, Small Irrigation, Drinking Water Supply, Culvert and Small Bridges, Micro-hydro and School and Community Buildings etc.
Provide technical presentation to the concerned people
Function as inspector of Community Infrastructure
Provide on-the job training to new staff; Report periodically the tasks performed and lessons learned to the division chief
