Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH), a non-profit civil society organization established in 1993 with an aim to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights especially the rights of children and youths, invites applications for different posts: Project Coordinator, Youth Advocacy Coordinator and District Youth Mobilization Officers from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity.

The vacancy is called for Nepal based positions for a south Asian regional (Nepal, India, Pakistan) project, “From LOCAL to GLOBAL: strengthening, networking and capacity building of youth-led activities for the right to a clean and healthy environment” funded by Terre Des hommes (TDH Germany) and Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Germany.

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in program development and implementation including monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Must be Fluent in English and Nepali (written and spoken)
  • Sound and proven knowledge in project cycle management, results based management, logical framework, project documentation
  • Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages including online database handling.
  • Sound knowledge on Child Rights 

Job Description

  • Support to enhance monitoring and evaluation capacities of NGOs and civil society to increasingly engage in Child Rights Monitoring.
  • Support the availability of accurate, complete and up-to-date information on Child Rights Situation; provide support for the sharing of information with relevant partners, as required. 
  • Coordinate with civil society organization in district levels to monitor the Child Rights Situation and reporting. 
  • Prepare Project Implementation Plan, periodic plan of action, Ensure timely implementation of the projects and track the achievements in the program district.
  • Track the accomplishment of the field activities and report them to the program management with necessary feedback.
  • Coordinate among all the government and other stakeholders and create synergy in the program.
  • Represent and communicate the voice of CWISH in the district and ground level
  • Prepare Monthly, Periodic, Quarterly and Annual Reports
