Position Overview:
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the organization's marketing and advertising initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO's primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing campaigns for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (Job Description):
1. Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and drive growth.
- Set current and long-term goals for internal teams.
- Design and review the Marketing department’s budget.
- Build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
2. Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Develop strategies based on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Utilize analytics to measure and improve marketing effectiveness.
3. Brand Management & Advertising
- Oversee the creation and execution of branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages, and promotional material).
- Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics.
4. Product Development & Innovation
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to align marketing strategies with product development.
- Guide the development of new marketable products and enhancements.
5. Sales Support & Customer Engagement
- Work closely with the Sales department to align marketing and sales strategies.
- Develop and manage campaigns that drive sales and improve customer retention.
- Foster relationships with customers and ensure their needs are being met.
6.Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.
- Ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a similar leadership position.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Experience in managing diverse marketing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media strategies.
