We are seeking a strategic, visionary, and execution-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company into its next phase of growth and transformation. The CEO will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and managing stakeholder relationships. A key aspect of this role is working in close collaboration with the Board of Directors to align on corporate objectives and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and implement company's long-term vision and business strategy in alignment with board directives and market opportunities.
Board Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, providing regular updates, strategic insights, and performance reports to ensure transparency and alignment.
Operational Management: Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, R&D, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, supply chain, sales, and finance.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with local and international pharmaceutical regulations, including DDA Nepal, WHO-GMP, and ISO standards.
Business Development: Identify growth opportunities in domestic and regional markets (particularly within SAARC countries), expanding Keva’s product portfolio and market share.
Financial Oversight: Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and risk management to ensure sustainable profitability and fiscal health.
Leadership Development: Build and inspire a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of innovation, integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and strengthen relationships with government agencies, healthcare professionals, investors, vendors, and distribution partners.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 15 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Pharmacy, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a senior executive role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors and lead corporate governance practices.
Strong knowledge of Nepal’s pharmaceutical ecosystem and regulatory environment.
Proven track record in business growth, market expansion, and operational transformation.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Experience with export markets, especially within South Asia.
Advanced understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing standards and product lifecycle management.
Strong financial and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Familiarity with ERP systems and digital transformation in pharma.
