Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie with expertise in Chinese cuisine, along with hands-on experience in Chinese bakery and pastry, and basic knowledge of Indian/Nepali fast food items such as momo and chowmein. The ideal candidate should be creative, quality-focused, and capable of handling kitchen operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes, ensuring quality and consistency
Handle bakery and pastry preparation, including breads, desserts, and baked items
Prepare popular items such as momo, chowmein, and other semi-Indian/Nepali dishes
Oversee overall kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards
Assist in menu planning and introducing new dishes
Manage kitchen stock, ingredients, and minimize wastage
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth daily operations
Ensure timely food preparation and service

Required Education Level:School (SLC/ SEE)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 2–4 years of experience as Chef de Partie or similar role
Proven experience in Chinese cuisine (mandatory)
Experience in bakery and pastry preparation
Knowledge of momo, chowmein, and related dishes
Culinary training or certification is an advantage

Required Skills:

Strong cooking and food presentation skills
Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Time management and the ability to work under pressure
Creativity in menu planning and food preparation
