UNDERSTANDING AND PLANNING TO EXCEED CLIENT EXPECTATIONS
§ Develops basic understanding of client's business in order to identify issues and provide recommendations in own assigned areas for inclusion in management letters.
§ Develops understanding of service offerings within and across lines of service to identify opportunities to meet client needs.
MANAGING THE ENGAGEMENT FOR EFFECTIVENESS
§ Applies appropriate accounting principles and auditing standards to reach and support conclusions related to assigned areas.
§ Contributes to discussions (asks questions, provides valued inputs).
§ Obtains needed information from available client data and conducts appropriate client data analysis.
§ Reviews client practices within an assigned area of responsibility and refers possible problems and solutions to team leader quickly.

§ Demonstrates awareness of firm's risk management policies and procedures by identifying and referring ethical, independence and conflict issues to team manager and/or engagement leader.
§ Consults with Team Manager on a timely basis when variances to standard practices are encountered.
