Role Overview:. As the Senior Accountant at Gateway, you will take on a pivotal role in handling critical financial tasks and overseeing financial operations. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our company's financial success and helping our clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing valuable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial challenges and contribute to the achievement of company objectives.

Stay updated with industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices to continuously improve financial processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent.

Minimum [5] years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a relevant industry or accounting firm.

Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
