Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead and oversee the organization’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, financial reporting, and risk management. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the hydropower or construction industry, strong financial expertise, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key advisor to the management team, providing financial insights and recommendations for business improvement.
Oversee all financial operations, including budgetary control, correspondence with banks, financial projection and presentation, quarterly reporting and analysis, and financial statement preparation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Manage and monitor cash flows, budget adherence, and financial risks.
Conduct financial analysis and review to improve efficiency and profitability of the organization.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary support during audits.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Other Specification

Must be a Professional Certificate in Chartered Accountancy (C.A.) from Nepal/ India.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Hydropower or Construction industry is mandatory.
Proven track record in budgetary control, financial analysis and reporting, and risk management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
