About the Job

It is a pivotal role that is designed for a proactive leader with a strong accounting/finance background and exceptional management skills.

• Role: Chartered Accountant 
• Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
• Employment: Permanent role
• Salary: CTC - NPR 25 lakhs – NPR 50 lakhs annually + stock options (no bar for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities

• Actively involved in the business development and strategic direction of the group, liaising with the senior management and CEO
• Lead new product development and geographical expansion of the group’s business
• Oversee client portfolios, ensuring high-quality work with a practical, business-focused approach and exceptional client relationships
• Guide and support team members by delegating tasks and providing on-the-job training
• Work closely with executive leadership, operations, and other departments to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives
• Create and present financial and sales strategy recommendations to the CEO
• Ensure timely and accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports to the CEO & senior management for informed decision making

Qualification/Experience

• Qualified CA/ACCA
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in senior managerial roles, preferably in renowned corporate houses, banks, international companies or Big 4 firms

• Strategic: Proven track record in strategic planning and business development, with the ability to drive significant growth
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing teams and collaborating across departments
• Analytical: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. Excellent English (both written and verbal)
• IT: Advanced Excel skills and ability to use other modern IT tools/software (programming language knowledge will be added advantage)
