Roles and responsibilities of this job

A reputed College is seeking a dedicated, vigilant, and responsible CCTV Operator to monitor and manage the college CCTV surveillance system CCTV cameras. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and disciplined College environment by continuously monitoring surveillance footage, responding promptly to security incidents, and maintaining accurate records.

Department: Administration

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor live CCTV footage across the College and report any unusual or suspicious activities.
Ensure the safety and security of students, staff, visitors, and college property through continuous surveillance.
Record, document, and immediately report security incidents to the concerned authority.
Retrieve and review CCTV recordings when required for investigations or administrative purposes.
Perform routine checks to ensure CCTV cameras, recording systems, and related equipment are functioning properly.
Coordinate with the Security and Administration Departments during emergencies and security-related incidents.
Maintain confidentiality of surveillance data and comply with the college's security policies.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Minimum +2 or equivalent qualification (Bachelor's degree preferred).
At least 2 years of experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar security surveillance role.
Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems, DVR/NVR operations, and basic computer skills.
Good observation, communication, and reporting skills.
Honest, disciplined, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
