A reputed College is seeking responsible, caring, and disciplined individuals to join its Hostel Department as Hostel Assistants. The selected candidates will assist in the day-to-day management of the student hostel, ensuring a safe, secure, clean, and supportive living environment for students while maintaining discipline and providing administrative support.

Department: Hostel Administration

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the daily operation and administration of the student hostel.
Supervise students and ensure compliance with hostel rules, regulations, and discipline.
Maintain student attendance, entry/exit records, and hostel registers.
Assist with room allocation, student check-in/check-out, and orientation of new residents.
Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of hostel rooms and common areas.
Coordinate with housekeeping, security, kitchen, and maintenance staff for smooth hostel operations.
Respond to students' concerns and report emergencies or disciplinary issues to the Hostel Warden.
Maintain hostel records and assist in organizing hostel activities and meetings.
Perform other duties assigned by the Hostel Warden or College Management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum +2 or equivalent qualification (Bachelor degree preferred).
At least 1 year of relevant experience in hostel administration, student services, or a similar role will be an added advantage.
Good communication, interpersonal, and basic computer skills.
Responsible, disciplined, patient, and able to work in shifts when required.
