The duties and responsibilities of a CCTV Analyzer in a company involve managing, maintaining, and  analyzing recorded CCTV footage to ensure the security, safety, and operational efficiency of the facility. Here's a comprehensive outline of the typical duties and responsibilities:

Recording and Storage Management:

  • Operate and manage the CCTV recording system to ensure continuous recording of video footage from surveillance cameras placed throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Monitor recording devices, storage capacity, and system performance to ensure reliable storage and retrieval of recorded footage.

Indexing and Labeling:

  • Label and index recorded footage in a systematic manner to facilitate easy retrieval and playback when needed.
  • Assign unique identifiers, timestamps, or metadata to each recording for organizational purposes.

Retention Policies:

  • Establish and enforce retention policies dictating how long recorded footage should be retained based on regulatory requirements, organizational policies, or operational needs.
  • Automate the deletion or archival of footage according to these policies.

Search and Retrieval:

  • Respond to requests from authorized personnel to retrieve specific video footage based on various criteria such as date, time, camera location, motion detection events, or specific incidents.
  • Provide timely access to requested recordings while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

Playback and Review:

  • Playback recorded footage to review events, incidents, or activities captured on CCTV cameras.
  • Utilize features such as pause, rewind, fast-forward, and frame-by-frame navigation for detailed analysis.

Analysis and Reporting:

Documentation and Record-Keeping:
