The duties and responsibilities of a CCTV Analyzer in a company involve managing, maintaining, and analyzing recorded CCTV footage to ensure the security, safety, and operational efficiency of the facility. Here's a comprehensive outline of the typical duties and responsibilities:

Recording and Storage Management:

Operate and manage the CCTV recording system to ensure continuous recording of video footage from surveillance cameras placed throughout the manufacturing facility.
Monitor recording devices, storage capacity, and system performance to ensure reliable storage and retrieval of recorded footage.

Indexing and Labeling:

Label and index recorded footage in a systematic manner to facilitate easy retrieval and playback when needed.
Assign unique identifiers, timestamps, or metadata to each recording for organizational purposes.

Retention Policies:

Establish and enforce retention policies dictating how long recorded footage should be retained based on regulatory requirements, organizational policies, or operational needs.
Automate the deletion or archival of footage according to these policies.

Search and Retrieval:

Respond to requests from authorized personnel to retrieve specific video footage based on various criteria such as date, time, camera location, motion detection events, or specific incidents.
Provide timely access to requested recordings while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

Playback and Review:

Playback recorded footage to review events, incidents, or activities captured on CCTV cameras.
Utilize features such as pause, rewind, fast-forward, and frame-by-frame navigation for detailed analysis.

Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze CCTV footage to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, or specific events of interest.
Prepare reports summarizing surveillance activities, incident investigations, compliance status, or operational insights for management review or regulatory purposes.

Incident Response Support:

Assist in investigations of security incidents, workplace accidents, thefts, vandalism, or other irregularities by providing access to relevant CCTV footage and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with security personnel, management, and relevant stakeholders to address incidents effectively.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of CCTV recording activities, incident reports, access requests, maintenance logs, and other documentation related to surveillance operations.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of documentation and records.

Collaboration and Communication:

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to share relevant information, provide updates, and facilitate problem-solving.

Duty Hours: 9 hours per working days.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

A high school diploma, BBA/BBS or running or equivalent degree.
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in CCTV / Surveillance record-keeping, monitoring surveillance footage and maintaining the record.
Preferable Technical skills: Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and related equipment.
Good and fast runner in MS operating systems is essential.
The ability to closely monitor surveillance footage and accurately documentation of relevant information is crucial for this role. CCTV Analyzer must be detail- oriented and capable of identifying and documenting suspicious or unusual activities promptly and effectively.
Effective communication skills are essential for reporting incidents of suspicious activities and maintaining accurate records. This includes both in verbal and written.
A fair knowledge on documentation of observations, incidents and analyze findings in written report or incident logs.
Own Two wheeler and valid driving license is compulsory
