Job Description:

An educational counsellor is a professional who assists students in various aspects of their academic journey by evaluating their abilities, interests and goals. They provide guidance and support to help students make informed decisions about their education, career path and personal development. Additionally, they may administer assessments, facilitate workshops and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' success. Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, knowledge of the educational system, time management and problem-solving skills are essential qualities of educational counsellors.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Providing academic advice to students regarding course selections, program requirements, and academic progress, especially for studying abroad in Germany.

• Providing support and guidance to students during the university application process, including assistance with course selections, location selection, & financial requirements.

• Conducting individual and group counselling sessions.

• To address personal social and emotional concerns affecting students' academic performance.

• Developing and implementing Admission Week, university admission workshops, seminars, road shows, & other educationally linked activities to maintain the brand of the company and British Education.

• Assisting students with career exploration & planning, including providing information on career options, job market trends and educational requirements.

• Collaborating with teachers, administrators and other school staff to support students' success and address academic and behavioral issues.

• Staying informed about current trends & developments in education counselling and career planning through professional development activities.

• Maintaining accurate records of students' interaction and progress. Ensuring confidentiality of students' information.
