Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a CapEx Projects & Construction Manager for Raj Brewery, Nawalparasi, to oversee civil and building works for its expansion projects, managing all phases from design and engineering through execution, handover, and final documentation.
The role is responsible for delivering major projects, including new developments and facility expansions, in alignment with company;s strategy. The position will ensure cost, quality, and performance optimisation through effective CapEx governance, while strengthening local team capabilities and ensuring full compliance with the Carlsberg Operating Model (COM) and civil and building standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead conceptual site layouts and master planning, translating business requirements into practical, constructable designs.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs to ensure an integrated and aligned design approach.
- Oversee 2D & 3D design deliverables, ensuring coordination across layouts, structures, piping, MEP, and utilities.
- Drive model integration, clash detection, and constructability using AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Plant 3D, and Navisworks.
- Lead design coordination and resolve cross-disciplinary conflicts early to mitigate cost and schedule risks.
- Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to align technical solutions with project objectives.
- Oversee preparation and validation of shop drawings, installation drawings, BOMs, and isometrics.
- Ensure accuracy of material take-offs and documentation to minimize rework and cost deviations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, COM, and international codes (ISO, EN, ASME, OSHA).
- Apply FM Global and LEED principles to enhance safety, sustainability, and asset performance.
- Promote standardization of design, construction practices, and supplier strategies.
- Embed Health & Safety across design and execution phases.
- Deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule with strong CapEX control.
- Align stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and minimize disruption during brownfield execution.
- Enforce scope and change management with proper governance.
- Drive value engineering to optimize cost, constructability, and lifecycle efficiency.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement aligned with Carlsberg Growth Culture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in CapEx project delivery, construction management, or industrial engineering environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale capital investment projects from concept through execution, commissioning, and handover.
- Technical Expertise and strong knowledge of civil works, structural systems, and industrial construction practices.
- Hands-on experience in project lifecycle management, including design coordination, procurement, construction, and certification.
- Solid understanding of CapEx planning, budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking.
- Exposure to production environments and integration with logistics/supply chain operations.
- Experience and exposure in Multi-National companies with exposure to international markets.
