Job Description

British Grammar School Rupandehi is the first Cambridge International School in the region, offering Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary education. Located in Tilottama Municipality, Rupandehi, in Lumbini province, the school serves students from playgroups to grade 12.

As the only school under the British Education Group, managed by The British College, Nepal, we benefit from a network of schools in the UK, Dubai, and Nepal, providing the most advanced infrastructure in the region. Our education is grounded in a progressive philosophy, focusing on nurturing values like inquisitiveness, innovation, accountability, and compassion.

We support working parents with individualised care for students in a thriving learning environment. Our school day runs from 8 am to 5:45 pm in summer and 8:30 am to 4:45 pm in winter, with door-to-door transport, meals, and extracurricular activities included. Pre-primary and primary students also have scheduled time for assignments. Additionally, we offer hostel services for students from across Nepal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and impact of the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Coordinate with Cambridge University for registrations and Checkpoint exams (Grades 5 & 8).
  • Facilitate Cambridge teacher training and deliver internal development sessions.
  • Maintain regular communication with Cambridge University, the School Authority, and the BEG Board.
  • Organise parent meetings and provide timely academic feedback.
  • Support school branding through presentations and outreach events.
  • Teach and mentor students in English, Science, or Mathematics.
  • Ensure high-quality, student-focused classroom delivery and assessments
