Job Description

CESIF is looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Growth Manager to lead the planning, fundraising, organization, execution, and wrap-up of CESF's annual flagship concave. This high-impact role involves managing all operational, programmatic, and stakeholder engagement aspects of the conclave, while also playing a key role in securing strategic partnerships and funding to ensure the conclave’s and CESIF’s long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap and timeline for the conclave.
  • Align the event's strategy with CESIF's broader vision and goals.
  • Prepare detailed budgets and secure sponsorships and funding.

Program Development

  • Design the thematic framework and session formats in collaboration with CESIF leadership.
  • Identify and invite speakers, panelists, and delegates—both national and international.
  • Structure the event schedule and curate dynamic, interactive sessions.

Logistics & Operations

  • Manage venue selection, accommodation, catering, travel, and event setup.
  • Supervise the registration process and overall attendee experience.
  • Coordinate technical elements such as live streaming, AV, photography, and digital engagement tools.

Stakeholder Engagement & Fundraising

  • Build partnerships with government agencies, diplomatic missions, regional organizations, private sector stakeholders, and the media.
  • Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and follow up on donor/sponsor engagement.
  • Draft contracts and manage partnership communications.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Lead the branding, marketing, and promotional efforts of the conclave.
  • Create and manage digital content, social media campaigns, and outreach strategies.
  • Oversee the production of print and digital promotional materials.

Event Execution & On-site Management

  • Lead the event’s operational team, vendors, and volunteers.
  • Ensure seamless coordination during formal sessions and informal networking events.
  • Implement a crisis management and troubleshooting plan.

Post-event Reporting & Evaluation

  • Conduct a comprehensive impact assessment.
  • Compile and present a final report with outcomes, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and dissemination of session highlights and findings.

Additional Duties

  • Handle ad-hoc responsibilities essential to the success of the conclave.
