About the job

Job Summary:

 The Business Development Officer will drive the growth of a premium tea brand through both B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) channels. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing relationships with corporate clients (retailers, cafes, etc.), and expanding direct-to-consumer sales. The officer will develop and implement sales strategies, conduct market research, and ensure customer satisfaction. Success will be measured by meeting sales targets, expanding market share, and enhancing brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B2B: Cultivate partnerships with retailers, restaurants, and other businesses, managing wholesale contracts and key accounts.
  • B2C: Develop strategies for e-commerce and direct sales, engaging with individual consumers to build brand loyalty.
  • Market Research: Identify trends and new opportunities in the tea industry.
  • Sales & Reporting: Meet sales goals and provide regular performance updates.
  • Brand Promotion: Represent the brand at trade shows and create marketing campaigns for both business and consumer segments.

Qualifications:

  • 0 to 1 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in food & beverage or consumer goods.
  • Bachelor running or completed candidate can apply. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
