Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer located in Kathmandu. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow the business, build strong customer relationships, and develop effective marketing strategies to increase sales and meet revenue targets 

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Increasing client base
  • Writing business proposals
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Up-to-date with business trends
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvement
  • Provide guidance to junior 
  • Coordinate with client for payments

Qualifications

  • New business development, analytical, and communication skills
  • Customer service and Strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt quickly to changing market needs
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business plans and marketing strategies
  • At least 2-3 years Experience in sales, customer service, or business development roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
