We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer with a strong background in hire purchase and finance solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying, developing, and managing relationships with clients interested in hire purchase services. This role requires a keen understanding of financial products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Identify and target potential clients who could benefit from hire purchase solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Understand clients' financial needs and tailor hire purchase proposals to meet their requirements.

Business Development:

Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's hire purchase business.
Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Proactively seek out new business prospects through networking, cold calling, and industry events.

Product Knowledge and Presentation:

Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's hire purchase offerings and their benefits to effectively communicate with clients.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing the advantages of our hire purchase solutions.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct thorough financial assessments of potential clients to determine their creditworthiness and risk profile.
Collaborate with internal teams to structure hire purchase agreements that align with clients' financial capabilities.

Negotiation and Deal Closure:

Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to secure successful hire purchase agreements.
Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met during the negotiation and contract finalization process.

Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with internal teams such as credit, legal, and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide feedback and insights to improve the hire purchase product offering based on client interactions.

Reporting and Tracking:

Maintain accurate records of all interactions with clients, including meetings, proposals, and agreements.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue projections, and progress towards targets.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Proven track record in business development and sales, with a focus on hire purchase or related financial services.
Strong understanding of hire purchase, leasing, and finance concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
