Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in Nepal. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local hospitality market, a robust network with hoteliers, and experience in building strategic partnerships. This role is crucial in establishing MyTravaly as the go-to marketplace for hotel bookings in Nepal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities within the Nepalese hospitality market. Develop strategies to increase MyTravaly’s market share. 
  • Partnership Establishment: Build and nurture relationships with hoteliers and property owners. Secure partnerships that align with MyTravaly’s goals and expand our marketplace offerings. 
  • Property Onboarding: Assist hoteliers in listing their properties on MyTravaly's platform, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Provide support and guidance to maximize their visibility and bookings. 
  • Brand Awareness: Promote MyTravaly's brand across Nepal through various channels. Implement marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and recognition. 
  • Networking: Leverage existing networks and establish new connections with key players in the hospitality industry in Nepal. 

Requirements

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the hospitality or travel industry. 
  • Network: A well-established network with hoteliers and property owners in Nepal is essential. 
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
