Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team, specializing in banking software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales, particularly in the banking and financial services sector. This role involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Strategy:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the banking sector.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers within potential client organizations.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring regular follow-up and engagement.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients on how our software solutions can meet their business objectives.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with the product development and technical teams to understand the features and benefits of our software solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and sales materials.
  • Partner with account managers to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of software solutions for new clients.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet KPIs.
  • Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software sales, with a focus on banking or financial services software.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and technology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
