Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be at the front of the company and should have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be concerned with improving and growing the business, by fostering and developing relationships with clients i.e. schools and school authorities. You may work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets or to enhance the business operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; analysing market strategies and discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's completed and should have 2-4 years of working experience in the Education Sector
  • An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
  • Should have fluent communication in both English and Nepali
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Good IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
  • A professional manner and presentable appearance for meeting customers/clients
  • Good networking skills

  • Candidate must have own 2 wheeler with a valid driving license.
