  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate credible forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs 
  • Proven track record in working with cross-functional teams, getting buy-in and executing  marketing plans, and staying focused on “getting it done” in a fast-moving startup  environment

Job Description

We are seeking a Manager who is passionate about creating a business development program for a product that caters to a global customer base. Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets to identify new business opportunities to increase revenue and business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the payment industry and the world of embedded financial technology services.  
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas,  trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing  markets 
  • Organize and lead the meetings with potential customers/leads. 
  • Develop relationships with customers/clients, understand their requirements, and be able to  provide the solutions accordingly. 
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the industry. 
  • Help to plan sales campaigns, create a sales pipeline 
  • Prepare sales forecasts and analysis and present the findings 
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy. 
  • Operate CRM tools (such as Hubspot) to manage the leads and projects. Oversee  marketing automation and the creation/configuration of the following: email and  registration form templates, automated customer journeys, programming of business rules  and marketing triggers, lead scoring and grading, complex personalization, customer  contact thresholds, and data sourcing and integration 
  • Coordination with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, customer  success, operations, legal, compliance, etc. to enable best-in-class consumer experience, implement new marketing strategies, and implement key roadmap initiatives. 
  • Maintain client relationships and most importantly keep our clients happy. 
  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
