This position will report to the Co-founders and leadership of the organization. You will be responsible to drive our sales insights, strategy and strategic initiative execution across various eCommerce channel ( web, Instagram and Facebook), inclusive of the following responsibilities.
- Identify drivers of Gulaafi’s eCommerce business, data-driven expectations for how they will change going forward, and implications on the rapidly changing channel
- Provide recommendations, leveraging eCommerce industry research, best practices, trends and competitive intelligence
- Work with teams to improve and manage User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design of the website and other digital channels.
- Conducting competitor and customer analysis.
- Define user- and business-level KPIs and metrics to track KPI performance to lead strategic decision making.
- Ability to see the bigger picture while developing a tangible action plan.
- Develop storyboards and presentations for the above projects, adapting for varying levels within the organization (e.g., sales team vs. executive leadership)
- Assess organizational structure on an ongoing basis to ensure it aligns with evolving channel dynamics
- In partnership with leadership, conduct interviews and research to identify capability gaps and opportunities and develop “out of the box” solutions to address these areas
- Build a community by signing on new vendors and keep an eye out for new opportunities
- Work closely with the social media managers, sales and delivery team for a consistent and aligned impact across all platforms
