Roles and responsibilities of this job

This position will report to the Co-founders and leadership of the organization. You will be responsible to drive our sales insights, strategy and strategic initiative execution across various eCommerce channel ( web, Instagram and Facebook), inclusive of the following responsibilities.

Identify drivers of Gulaafi’s eCommerce business, data-driven expectations for how they will change going forward, and implications on the rapidly changing channel
Provide recommendations, leveraging eCommerce industry research, best practices, trends and competitive intelligence
Work with teams to improve and manage User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design of the website and other digital channels.
Conducting competitor and customer analysis.
Define user- and business-level KPIs and metrics to track KPI performance to lead strategic decision making.
Ability to see the bigger picture while developing a tangible action plan.
Develop storyboards and presentations for the above projects, adapting for varying levels within the organization (e.g., sales team vs. executive leadership)
Assess organizational structure on an ongoing basis to ensure it aligns with evolving channel dynamics
In partnership with leadership, conduct interviews and research to identify capability gaps and opportunities and develop “out of the box” solutions to address these areas
Build a community by signing on new vendors and keep an eye out for new opportunities
Work closely with the social media managers, sales and delivery team for a consistent and aligned impact across all platforms
