Roles and responsibilities of this job

Responsibilities:

Planning, implementing and overseeing new business development initiatives
Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Developing proposal, sales pitch, presentations and quotes for existing and prospective clients
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings to communicate new product developments to prospective clients
Thinking strategically, seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
Managing and leading the day to day operations of the department
Increasing the value of current customers while identifying potential customers
Keeping up with the current industry trends locally and internationally
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field
5 to 7 of years of experience in the sales, marketing or related field
Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills and IT fluency
Ability to think creatively and innovatively
Experience with leading and managing a team with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
